How about an articale by you on the climategate fraud
Lee, I’d like to see such an “articale” as well. Something stinks to high heaven about the whole brouhaha of the climate talks, and I’m not sure it’s only rotten in Denmark. But I cannot put my finger on what it is…basically, what Russ needs to do is in the spirit of what he already does: Out the stakeholders. If the true stake each of the attendees has were to be “outed”, the whole of the proceedings would probably just be low-comedy.
On a more general level, I appreciate Baker’s getting at what’s behind all those headlines we seem to need; yet what I’d really like is a program to teach EVERY reader to cast a skeptical eye on everything the news media puts out–the MSM, for the most part, of course. As a matter of fact, we should be helping K-12 students learn how to be critical thinkers along with the 3 Rs. Sophisticated, polite, critical thinkers who consider every blatant heading and nuance behind every news article; readers who do not hesitate to ask, civilly, “What is the evidence for this?” and then investigate–making the reporters squirm a bit–the credibility of the evidence.
