One reason that the nation has not made more progress toward an economic “recovery” is that the people in charge really don’t know what one would look like. The top economists in Washington don’t appear to have asked the obvious question, “Recovery of what—and for what?” …Economic indicators are our national psyche’s main gauges, the mirror into which we look to see how things are going. ….Such metrics as the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) have an oracular status; reporters watch them obsessively, policy experts steer by them, and politicians march to their command. Yet for the most part the indicators are a crock and testimony to the grip of yesterday upon the expert economic mind. The prime example is the GDP, the anachronism of which is a secret, it seems, only within the media and policy establishments that invoke it constantly. Any measure that portrays an increase in car crashes, cancer, marital breakdown, kinky mortgages, oil use, and gambling as evidence of advance—as the GDP does—simply because they occasion the expenditure of money has a tenuous claim to being reality-based discourse….

To be honest the Chamber of Commerce is right about one thing.
The CO2 crap is fraud. There has been “climate change” throughout history. This is nothing new and has zero to do with the fraudulent CO2 theory (but they will be able to tax you to breath dammit). It is solar flares. I remember when solar activity started to cool in appox. 2001 I knew it would get colder and they would eat that one. In light of all the fraudulent data ect. and the present cooling trend.
People will starve if they get this thing though. Yes and it will be the most helpless among us and the earth is in zero danger of melting. No I am not making this up. There is no population bomb either. This earth could support about 30 billion people. The resources are there greed, greed, greed and more greed, interrupted distribution channels, war, corrupt government are the real causes of want. There is really plenty to go around.
What is your game. It is really solar flares and I do not like the corrupt government or press. I know this is a scam and I am sure you are better informed than I am. I could supply a graph and plenty of other data with the actual temperatures on earth for about the last 400 yrs. to prove we were not even out of norms. There is a direct correlation between solar cycles and activity and temperatures
When you support something that even I know is a fraud (no I knew before the so called front groups came in) it throws any ounce of credibility you have right out the window.

One thing tho, what do you plan to breathe once all the forests have been cleared to make room for the crops to support 30 billion people. I couldn’t care less what you want to call it, but humans are the primary factor moving this planet towards death. Whether it heats up, cools down or there just isn’t any clean water to drink, we are the cause.
